Naturally Good Fun

Blue BellsStart your day by going on a nature trail, it’s a great way to stretch your legs after a car journey!  Children in your party might enjoy picking up one of the nature puzzle trails like our Bug Hunt, with puzzle sheets available from our shop in the Ice Cream Parlour.  There are four nature trails to choose from, including a 1 mile buggy and wheelchair friendly route.  Keep your eyes peeled and do some wildlife spotting - wildlife sightings along the trails have included fox, roe deer, dozens of dragonflies and butterflies, frogs and toads and almost 60 species of bird!

Time for some lunch?  Why not stay close to the natural world by enjoying an outside feast – your own picnic or a bite to eat from the Burger Barn Menu.

The Adventure Playground is great fun for visitors of all ages.  Built beneath the canopy of our oak woodland using natural, sustainable materials our local wildlife seem unperturbed by the busy adventures being had on the maze, assault course, scramble nets and bridges.

Climb the Cra’s Nest, our 50 foot viewing tower with amazing views over the highest oak trees.  Enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside and enjoy a privileged look into the rooks nests below you.

At home in the natural world?  Take a look at our nature events.
