Ice Cream Parlour Burger Barn

burgerminiOther than ice cream the most popular item on our menu has always been burgers, and not just any old burgers, Cream o’ Galloway burgers are hand made with beef from our own organic farm.  Our animals grow slowly and naturally giving meat with extra flavour and our burgers are served in a seeded roll or a floury bap.  We also serve venison burgers made from local wild venison as well as a deliciously spicy veggie burger. If you’re looking for a bread free option try our ‘burger with a salad’ option instead.  To top it all off you can choose from an array of different burger toppings including organic cheese, creamy peppercorn & mushroom, and salsa & guacamole to name just a few! 

When in season we buy our fresh produce from Jim who works on the farm and grows fantastic salads and vegetables in a couple of polytunnels here at Rainton.  Harvested daily about half a mile from the visitor centre they couldn't be fresher!

 Also on the menu are home baked cakes, shortbread, flapjacks and traybakes, wheat free nachos and freshly made soups served with an organic baguette or locally made Wigwam bread. Children get a tempting choice of treats in the Kids Corner on the menu and our huge Sundae menu will tempt you with something sweet to round off your meal.
