Bike Hire & Cycle Tracks

alt

Hit the trails or test your skills on two wheels by getting on a bike at Cream o’ Galloway.  You can bring your own or hire one of ours – choose from a trek mountain bike or BMX.  Our bike skills track is packed full of technical challenges and experienced mountain bikers, and aspiring bikers, should find plenty to test their skills and abilities.

Our bike routes are a really enjoyable way to explore the countryside at Cream o’ Galloway taking you through the field next to the wind turbine.  For novices the Green route is the easiest and at just over a kilometre long it’s short enough for the whole family to enjoy.

The Blue route is twice as long and has some small hills and swooping corners, an accessible intermediate route.  For experienced bikers there are also some Red options which are more technical, narrower and steeper, with jumps and other obstacles to try out.

The bike skills course will help you learn how to flow the trail and develop your mountain biking skills.  It’s suitable for families and beginners with basic off road skills and for more experienced bikers wanting to refine their abilities.  The skills area incorporates different elements of mountain bike trails, such as Steep Descents, Jumps, Northshore, Berms, rock gardens and technical hotspots.

Please Remember:  all types of cycling involve an element of risk.  Please take care.
